đ Hi, itâs Kaylee Edmondson and welcome to Looped In, my newsletter exploring demand gen and growth frameworks in B2B SaaS. Subscribe to join 1k+ readers who get Looped In delivered to their inbox every Sunday .
I wasn't planning to publish another jobs roundup this soon, but honestly? I couldn't help myself. The volume of really compelling demand gen and growth roles hitting my feeds this week has been pretty remarkable.
And I donât want to sugarcoat it. The last 18 months have been brutal for a lot of folks in our space. I've had more coffee chats with talented marketers navigating RIFs than I care to count. The startup roller coaster has been particularly unforgiving, and if you've been caught up in layoffs or reductions in force, I see you.
But here's what's got me genuinely excited: the companies that are hiring right now aren't just backfilling roles. They're investing in growth. They're betting on the future. And more importantly, they're specifically seeking the kind of strategic, systems-thinking demand gen talent that can drive real revenue impact.
This isn't your typical "spray and pray" hiring spree. These roles are thoughtful, well-defined, and signal that leadership teams understand what modern demand generation actually requires.
Reminder: If the links below donât work, itâs because the role has been filled, or otherwise removed.
The Roles That Caught My Eye
HockeyStack - Demand Generation Role What I love about this one: HockeyStack is in the attribution and analytics space, which means they get the complexity of modern B2B buyer journeys. Theyâre a young, scrappy group of founders and their VP of Sales is kinda cool (read: we worked together in my Chili Piper days and truthfully always referred to him as the đ). If you've been wanting to work somewhere that truly understands multi-touch attribution and signal-based marketing, this could be your spot.
Vector - Demand Gen Marketer Full transparency Iâm a 2x Vector customer turned Vector Partner, but they are genuinely not paying me to spread the word that theyâre hiring. They are leading the charge to move us all from Account-Based signals to Contact-Based Marketing. No more, âsomeone from Pepsi visited your websiteâ instead itâs âPatty Nelson, VP of Marketing, visited your Pricing page at 3:33 AM (insomnia sleeps for no one after all)â. So if you want to market to marketers and help set the stage for new tech, Vector is probably your gig.
Databricks - Demand Generation Manager Databricks hiring for demand gen is huge. They're one of the most successful data and AI companies out there, and demand gen at a company like this means you'll be at the forefront of how technical buyers research and evaluate complex solutions.
Vanta - Growth Marketing Role Vanta has been absolutely crushing it in the compliance automation space. A growth marketing role here means you'd be working on sophisticated audience segmentation and likely some really interesting signal-based plays.
Stripe - Growth Marketing Manager, Lifecycle Stripe hiring for lifecycle marketing is đ«°. Think about the complexity of their customer baseâfrom startups to enterprisesâand the opportunity to build sophisticated nurture and expansion programs. Plus, it's Stripe. Need I say more?
What This Hiring Wave Actually Means
Here's what I'm reading between the lines of these job postings:
Companies are getting serious about attribution and measurement. Half of these companies are in spaces where understanding complex buyer journeys is critical. They need marketers who can think in systems, not just campaigns.
Signal-based marketing is becoming table stakes. The days of basic lead scoring and generic nurture sequences are over. These companies need people who understand intent data, account-based orchestration, and how to turn signals into revenue.
The "spray and pray" era is dead. Every single one of these roles emphasizes strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and integrated GTM approaches. They're not looking for campaign executorsâthey're looking for growth architects.
Technical and compliance markets are hot. Notice how many of these companies are in highly technical or regulated spaces? That's where the growth is happening right now.
If You're Job Hunting Right Now
A few pieces of advice if you're actively looking:
Lead with systems thinking. Don't just talk about campaigns you've run. Talk about how you've connected the dots between marketing activities and revenue outcomes. Show and tell how you've orchestrated across channels and tools.
Demonstrate signal-based marketing experience. If you've worked with intent data, account-based plays, or account-based GTM, make that the hero of your story.
Show your ability to build, not just execute. These companies aren't looking for people who can run existing programs. They want builders who can create frameworks, implement new technology, and design integrated GTM strategies.
Get comfortable with technical audiences. Many of these roles involve selling to technical buyers. If you can speak to how you've marketed to developers, data teams, or security professionals, you'll stand out.
Prepare for revenue accountability. Every conversation I'm having with hiring managers right now includes questions about pipeline attribution and revenue impact. Be ready to talk numbers.
For those of you who've been in the trenches, building signal-based programs, optimizing attribution, and thinking strategically about account-based approachesâyour time is now. These companies need exactly what you bring to the table.
Here's to growth!
See ya next week,
Kaylee â
